In October 2018 145 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 4.6% decrease from the 152 Mooresville homes sold in September 2018. October 2018 sales figures decreased 17.1% from October 2017 when 175 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market.

The average sales price increased 7.8% from $382,061 in September to $411,802 in October. The October 2018 average sales price decreased 4.7% from the October 2017 average sales price which was $432,337.

Average days on the market decreased 12.5% from 56 days in September to 49 days on the market in October. The October 2017 average days on the market were 70, a 30% decrease in market time from the same period last year.

Currently there are 581 active homes for sale in Mooresville, up 2.3% from October. The average list price of active homes is $582,261 down 3.7% from the October average list price of $604,713. There are 256 Mooresville homes currently under contract, down 6% from October. Based on these numbers, just over 4 months of inventory, we are currently in a sellers market in the Mooresville real estate market.

In October 2018 22 condos/townhomes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, a 22.3% increase from the 18 Mooresville condos and townhomes sold September 2018. October 2018 sales figures increased 120% from October 2017 when 10 Mooresville condos sold.

The average sales price increased 15.8% from $200,247 in September to $231,827 in October. The October 2018 average sales price increased 37% from the October 2017 average sales price which was $169,218.

Average days on the market increased 47% from 34 days in September to 50 days on the market in October. The October 2017 average days on the market were 44, a 13.6% increase in market time from one year ago.

Currently there are 35 active condos for sale in Mooresville, an 13% increase from the 31 active Mooresville condos for sale in October. The average list price of active listings is $277,537, down 3.1% from October’s average list price of $286,328. There are 36 Mooresville condos/townhomes currently under contract, a 14.3% decrease from October. The average sales price increased 85.3% from $121,734 in September to $225,578 in October. The October 2018 average sales price increased 11.2% from the October 2017 average sales price which was $202,812.

October Average days on the market increased 65% from 114 in September to 188 days on the market in October. The October 2017 average days on the market were 74, a 154% increase in market time versus the same time period last year.
