In August 2019 195 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market, an 8.3% increase from the 180 Mooresville homes sold in July 2019. August 2019 sales figures decreased 8.1% from August 2018 when 211 homes sold in the Mooresville real estate market.

The average sales price decreased by 5.4% from $404,360 in July to $382,720 in August 2019. The August 2019 average sales price decreased 7.7% from the August 2018 average sales price which was $414,836.

Average days on the market decreased by 13% from 62 days in July to 54 days on the market in August 2019. The August 2018 average days on the market were 62, a 13% increase in market time from the same period last year.

Currently, there are 516 active homes for sale in Mooresville, down 6.9% from August. The average list price of active homes is $617,583 down 1.5% from the August average list price of $627,084. There are 339 Mooresville homes currently under contract, up 4% from August. Based on these numbers, just over 2.6 months of inventory, we are currently in a seller’s market in the Mooresville housing market.

The average sales price increased by 1.5% from $240,215 in July to $243,828 in August 2019. The August 2019 average sales price increased 10% from the August 2018 average sales price which was $221,719.

Average days on the market decreased by 34% from 56 days in July to 37 days on the market in August 2019. The August 2018 average days on the market were 37, a 0% increase in market time from one year ago.

Currently, there are 29 active condos for sale in Mooresville, a 12% decrease from the 33 active Mooresville condos for sale in August. The average list price of active listings is $262,718, up 1.9% from August’s average list price of $257,812. There are 31 Mooresville condos/townhomes currently under contract, a 14.8% increase from August.
